Service Thread’s prices are based on product type and volume requirements. Other factors that go into price are:

  • Raw material size – Finer raw materials generally take longer to process and come at a higher overall cost per pound. It’s important to understand the product size and type you are looking for to get an accurate price.
  • Fiber type – Is it a spun or continuous filament product? What type of fiber is the product made of? What grade of fiber is required to make a product meet application requirements?
  • Final Yarn or Thread Construction – Depending on the product requirements, an industrial yarn or thread may require a single end or multiple ends product. It may also need to be twisted, cabled and/or treated. There are a number of different package sizes that products can be supplied on as well.

All of these details factor into the pricing of our products.

Most customers using industrial textiles lack the equipment needed to test all the physical properties and exact material construction to the paper specification, so we can test samples of your current products to the written specification and supply a detailed test data for your review.
