Jay joined the Service Thread Team in 2017, developing his operations and supervisory skills in advanced manufacturing. After completing his Master of Business Administration degree in 2022, Jay was promoted to Business Continuity Manager - a key role to support operational success. As BCM Jay works closely with the operations team, engineering and maintenance staff to maintain the production assets and facilities as well as serving on our innovation and engineering team.  

As collegiate baseball player, Jay received the "Champion of Character" award for his conference during his senior year at Emmanuel College. In 2016 Jay started a part-time crossfit-style business, AYM Fitness, that has grown from five to more than 75 clients and four training coaches today.

Jay's coaching skills and entrepreneurial success make him a great fit for the Service Thread production team where he uses his positive motivation to help our production team meet challenges in today's fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Jay lives in Laurinburg with his wife Amber and their sons Parker and Wyatt. He holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Emmanuel College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from St. Andrews University.
